MARC ALBRIGHTON HAS 20,000 REASONS TO SMILE Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton ensured his place in the history books by scoring the 20,000th goal since the Premier League started in 1992-93, netting after 54 minutes of Arsenal’s 2-1 win at Villa Park.

Albrighton, who will now donate £20,000 from sponsors Barclays to charity, said: “It was great to score the goal, it is one of those things you remember for the rest of your life. But it has been soured by the defeat.”
